Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse the catalogue, click on the items you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details to satisfy the order.

UK customers can either pay using a credit card or sending a cheque made payable to Crossfields Saddlery prior to dispatch. Please write your address and bankers card number on the back of the cheque. Credit card payments will not be processed until the order is dispatched. Cheques will be processed upon receipt.

On delivery, the buyer shall examine the goods for defects and completeness. Any discrepancies with order delivered are to be notified within 3 days of receipt. In all cases. Any complaints are to be put in writing and will be dealt with within 14 days of receipt. In all cases, a signature "unexamined" shall be deemed to be an unconditional acceptance of the goods.

For any damaged or non-delivery of goods duly notified in accordance with the above shall in any event be limited to replacement of goods within a reasonable time ( or at our discretion, refunding the price thereof) whether the damage, or non-delivery is due to Crossfields Saddlery's negligence or otherwise.

Customer cancellation of orders
Orders and parts thereof may be cancelled only by the written acceptance by Crossfields Saddlery of such cancellation. We reserve the right to charge the purchaser with the amount of any losses or expenses directly or indirectly resulting from such cancellation. If we do not accept the cancellation, we reserve the right to recover the invoice price together with any additional losses incurred. If we have placed a deposit with a manufacturer or supplier in respect of an order, we may require you to reimburse such sum in the event of cancellation.

Shipping And Handling
Orders over £100 are free of postage and packing to destinations in the United Kingdom.

Orders under the value of £100 will attract a standard charge of £4.50

Delivery Schedule
All handstitched items will only be made on receipt of an order. Due to the nature of the work involved, items may take up to three weeks to be completed. Customers will be advised if their order is going to take longer than this.

Other items should normally be with the customer within 2 weeks, depending upon the manufacturer.

Any dates quoted for delivery are approximate only and Crossfields Saddlery shall not be liable for any delay in delivery howsoever caused. Crossfields Saddlery shall not in any circumstances be liable, to the buyer for any direct or consequential loss or damage or for any claim against the buyer by any third party.

Force Majeure Crossfields Saddlery shall not be liable to the buyer or be deemed to be in breach of the contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond our reasonable control.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer.
